It's been a long time since I've sketched without drawing from life. My sketchbooks are filled with drawings of fellow new yorkers (sleeping on the train, reading in the park). This is the second ink drawing in a series of three. It's about the freedom of finding love. These two kindred creatures meet unexpectedly, suddenly realizing the weight of their burden.
